Ammonia can be impacted by a variety of factors such as your cat's gender, neutered status, diet and bathroom behavior, environmental factors - size of litter box, depth of fill, number of cats, heat/humidity of home, and scooping regimen; So it's hard to have a one answer fits all response to your question.
The Really Great Cat Litter has activated charcoal to help combat foul odors and clumps for easy removal of soiled litter. Multiple cats may require more frequent scooping or a deeper fill if they're sharing the same litter box. As for tracking, some of our customers have even called the reduced tracking "life changing"!
