Continue to increase the proportion of Really Great Cat Litter until you’ve fully phased out of your previous litter.
Instructions:
Pour 1 to 2 inches of Really Great Cat Litter in a clean, empty litter box. If transitioning, start with 50% of Really Great Cat Litter and top with 50% of your previous litter. For the following replacement, start with 75% of Really Great Cat Litter and top with 25% of your previous litter.
Continue to increase the proportion of Really Great Cat Litter until you’ve fully phased out of your previous litter. Scoop away! Remove clumps and poops daily, shaking your scooper over the litter box to remove loose pellets .Dispose of clumps and litter by flushing†, composting, or tossing in your trash bin. Flush only 1-2 small clumps at a time. Use your scoop to break up larger clumps as needed, with each one being no bigger than a billiard ball. Be sure to check with your municipality for flushing and composting regulations.
Top up to maintain the same depth after scooping.
Replace the entire contents of your litter box with a fresh bag once a month, or as desired. A cat’s sense of smell is 40x stronger than yours, so we suggest giving your litter box a quick wipe down before refilling.
Store sealed in a cool, clean, and dry space.
