How often you need to change your cat litter depends on how many cats you have, how many litter boxes you have, and how often they use the litter box.
We recommend that you replace the entire contents of your litter box with a fresh bag once a month. A cat’s sense of smell is 40x stronger than yours, so we suggest giving your litter box a quick wipe down before refilling. The entire contents of the litter box should be disposed of in the trash or compost (where locally acceptable). Never empty a full litter box into the toilet.
Throughout the month, remember to scoop frequently and top of with new litter material to maintain a depth of 1 to 2 inches
Generally, one bag will last one cat for one month. Keep in mind other factors may influence your usage such as, how many cats you have, how many litter boxes you have, the size of your litter box, how deep you fill your litter box, and how often your cat(s) use the litter box.
